Kaitlyn Dressel swam at Florida State University 2011-2015. She was the first swimmer in FSU history to medal in the 50, 100 and 200 free races at the ACC Championships as well as the first three-time individual medalist since 2007. She currently holds FSU records in the 200 free (1:45.13), 200 free relay, 400 free relay, 400 medley relay, and the 800 free relay. Kaitlyn earned the ACC Swimmer of the Week honor (2012, 2013, 2014), All-American, and a three time NCAA member. She competed in the 2012 USA Olympic trials and ended her career at the 2016 USA Olympic trials.
