Chase Lane Receives Mac Crutchfield Scholarship

• Raised in a Christian family (Mother: Lori Lane, Father: Greg Lane)

• Started diving freshman year of high school for Chiles Swimming & Diving. Was coached by Derek Jones who became one of my best friends and role models.

• Dove for Tomahawk Dive Club for 2 years. Was coached by Chuck Wade the current University of Alabama Diving coach.

• Transitioned to Moss Farms Diving Club a world-renowned diving club located in the small town of Moultrie, Ga. Coached by Chris Heaton and John Fox two incredibly Christian, family men who poured into me and became the two biggest role models in my life. Here I became the leader of the team, grew in my faith, and helped to create our team culture of Faith, Character, and Sport.

• Graduated from Lawton Chiles High School with a 3.75 GPA

• Currently attending and diving at the University of Kentucky while majoring in Kinesiology.

• Coached by Ted Hautua a coach who will not only help strengthen me as a diver, but in my faith and as a person.

• Three-time Class 3A Florida Swimming and Diving State champion in diving and was a part of the Chiles Men Swimming and Diving State Championship win in 2016.

• Placed top 5 on two boards at the 2017 USA Diving National Championships located in Ohio.
